SGMA emphasizes that all beneficial users of groundwater (including landowners, agricultural producers, residents, and community organizations) should have opportunities to be informed and to participate in shaping groundwater sustainability solutions. 

WDWA GSA regularly updates the events listed below to share opportunities for learning, discussion, and input. Some events are hosted directly by the WDWA GSA, while others are organized by partner agencies, community groups, or other entities. All events are posted here to provide additional resources for those interested in groundwater management and SGMA implementation.

Additionally, WDWA GSA, in partnership with the other Kern County Subbasin GSAs, maintains a Facebook page,  Instagram profile,  and a Subbasin-wide website to share timely updates, educational materials, and announcements related to groundwater sustainability throughout the Kern County Subbasin.
